Plymouth Congregational Church Wedding Portraits Miami

If you get married at Plymouth Congregational Church in Miami, you have to capture your wedding portraits there!

My sweet bride & groom, Francesca, and Jordan were happily joined at Plymouth Congregational Church in Miami. However, as luck would have it, it rained on their wedding day! Rain is thought to signify a positive omen on a wedding day that brings about a happy & long-lasting marriage. But it’s not exactly ideal for shooting wedding portraits. Because of the rain, Francesca and Jordan really wanted a do-over of their wedding day portraits outside their wedding venue. How could I possibly say no?

The day we met for their portraits, the beautiful Miami sun was glowing all around us. I knew instantly that the weather was perfect for creating glowy unforgettable moments. But, I also knew how much this shoot meant to them, and, above all, I wanted to make sure this shoot not only met their expectations but exceeded them as well! We had a little help in the form of Francesca’s parents who came along on the day of the shoot. It’s funny actually, I met Francesa through her mother, who had worked with me previously on family portraits.

My focus once we arrived on location was to recreate the timeless moments that happen between a couple right after they say I do. Tender embraces, joyful smiles, and stolen kisses. Francesca and Jordan came fully dressed in their wedding day attire and ready to take in all the romantic feelings of their wedding day, one last time.

Francesca’s bridal gown was a romantic off-the-shoulder dress that she paired with a cathedral-length mantilla veil. Her whole bridal look appears as if it was ripped right out of the pages of a modern bride magazine! With such a gorgeously romantic look, we worked on bridal portraits using different perspectives of Plymouth Congregational Church to set the scene.
