Being a Miami Proposal Photographer has to be one of the most fun and exciting aspects of my job!

Alfy reached out to us to capture the exact moment he got down on one knee and asked Emylee to be his forever date. What’s funny is, Alfy is the brother of a former client of ours! He knew immediately that he wanted to work with us for his surprise proposal. But he needed a little help to set the scene and capture the moment.

The plan was to tell Emylee that he was taking her to dinner at La Mar by Gaston Acurio, a gorgeous waterfront restaurant that serves delicious Peruvian food! But ahead of dinner, he took Emylee for a scenic walk along the water's edge. Before Alfy and Emylee arrived, we made sure to set up a fake picnic for ourselves in order to disguise ourselves as two parkgoers!

We kept our distance as Alfy and Emylee walked into the park, but also discreetly captured them walking in. We waited until they approached the edge of the waterfront, and when Alfy was ready, we moved in to capture his surprise proposal! Emylee was completely caught off guard and overjoyed at Alfy’s proposal. There were even a few happy tears. Both Alfy and Emylee were dressed to kill for their night out at La Mar by Gaston Acurio, so every moment of their proposal went off without a hitch! Alfy even brought their sweet fur baby along to the proposal. After Emylee happily accepted, we made sure to capture some photos of the three of them together as one big happy family!
