FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you travel for weddings + elopements?
Sure I do! In fact I’ve photographed couples in several states, and outside the country.
Do we get our digital files?
Of course! You will receive an online gallery to make it easy to order prints and share with family and friends. With most of the wedding coverage offered you will also receive a custom wood USB with all of your full size images. All images are edited and high resolution quality.
Do we get printing rights?
Definitely. Although you won't have access to a professional lab on your own, I do include recommendations for consumer labs that you have access to.
Do you offer prints and albums?
Yes. I feel so strongly that every couple should have a wedding album. There's something so wonderful about your children flipping through a tangible book that they can hold on their laps and touch the day their family officially began.
What equipment do you use?
I photograph using Canon professional cameras and lenses.
Do you have back up equipment and insurance?
Yes. And yes.
How many images will we receive?
For an engagement session I deliver between 75-100 images. For a typical 8 hour wedding day, I deliver between 500-900+ images, depending on the events of the day. I never limit the number of photos that I give. If it was a meaningful moment, I would never hold out on you just because your gallery was getting too large.
How many pictures will I get retouched?
All of the photos that you will get will be retouched.
How DO WE book the wedding date?
You can make a deposit retainer of $1000 of the package chosen and after that your wedding date will be booked.
How quickly will we get our photos back?
Turnaround time for your wedding during peak season is 6-8 weeks. I know that sounds like an eternity, but I send up to 10 sneak peeks preview images from your wedding day within days!
Do you take photos of details and family portraits?
Yes. Although details and posed formal portraits aren't showcased on the website, I believe in telling the full story of your wedding day. You'll see those images in the full galleries after you've inquired.
Will you shoot LGBTQ, Catholic, Indian, JW, LDS, etc. weddings?
So much yes. I have not had the pleasure to photograph a ceremony from every faith, but it's certainly a goal. If you don't see something on my website that looks like the wedding you have in mind, don't let that stop you from reaching out to me.
