Matheson Hammock Park Engagement Photos

Matheson Hammock is a beautiful local park to shoot your engagement photos! For this session, I met Janette and Ruben on a gorgeous Miami afternoon to capture their story!

Janette and Ruben’s wedding will take place at the Biltmore, early next year. From “engaged” to husband and wife, we are beyond excited to celebrate their union! Janette, my beautiful bride-to-be, is the sister of one of my former grooms! I think it speaks volumes to me when I hear from the family members of my past clients. For us, the Dipp Experience has always been about being invested in your story. It's not just about “showing up” on the day of a wedding, with a camera in hand, to snap some photos before you ride off into your happily-ever-after moment. And, I also want to honor the friends and family in your life surrounding you during your special moment. So when I hear “I’m the sister/cousin/friend” of your past client, it makes my heart soar!

I know that so many couples love the idea of meeting at Vizcaya for their engagement session. I definitely can’t blame them, it’s a gorgeous, historic location bursting with charm, just waiting for memories to be made. However, its popularity also means, that on any given day of the week it will be bustling with other couples walking the grounds for the exact same reason! So, if you’re looking for a location to shoot your engagement photos that is a bit more laid back and less crowded and also by the waters of Biscayne Bay, then Matheson Hammock Park is an equally amazing place!

Janette and Ruben absolutely killed it for their engagement session at Matheson Hammock Park. Janette came to the shoot with professional hair and makeup done by I do Bridal Glam. PS: I always recommend getting professional hair and makeup done for your engagement photos! And Janette and Ruben even worked in an outfit change for their session.
