Miami Lifestyle Photography | Couples Session on The Beach
It's rare that we get to step away from weddings and work with couples on Miami Lifestyle Photography. But when we do, it's for beach sessions like this one!
The thing about lifestyle photography for couples is that it allows you to relax and be at ease with each other doing the same things that you normally do together in your everyday life. Creating pure magic is all about leaning into your shared hobbies or even your daily routine of making coffee together every morning, all while in front of the camera. You’ll spend your session already doing the things you would normally do, except this time there is a camera pointed at you. But because you are already in your natural, everyday state, we don’t have to worry about forced poses or the nerves that come along with looking or feeling stiff.
For this particular couple, their Lifestyle Photoshoot in Miami meant spending the day on the beach paddling out on a surfboard and relaxing in the sand. I love it when our couples aren’t afraid to be adventurous, and sometimes that can be as easy as getting in the water together with your photographer by your side!
The landscape of the beaches in Miami are epic and it doesn’t hurt if you have the beach all to yourself! If you want those amazing photos where it looks like you are the only two people in the world that exist, we can do this one of two ways! By planning your shoot at either sunrise or sunset and making sure that the time we select aligns properly with the tide. Safety first when shooting in or near the water! Yes, your feet will get wet, and yes, you’ll be finding sand everywhere for what feels like an eternity. But nothing can take away from turning that moment of your photoshoot on the beach into a memory, not even a little sand!
