Palms Hotel & Spa Miami Wedding

This Palms Hotel & Spa Miami wedding was elegant, graceful, and filled with time-honored wedding day traditions. Janna and Ethan may be a modern-day couple, but their wedding day was a beautiful classic celebration that observed their Jewish faith with their friends and family by their side.

Stretched across the coast of Miami Beach lays the Palms Hotel & Spa, a Miami wedding venue encompassed by towering verdant palm trees. The outdoor ceremony space at The Palms consists of a whimsical white gazebo on the lawn, accessed by the venue's beachside wooden stairway. Above the stairway, the venue's iconic name is scrawled across the top of the building. The space is idyllic but unlike any other outdoor wedding venue located on Miami Beach. It is elegant, yet provides the feeling of getting married at a quaint seaside resort with its outdoor palm frond fans and hints of the salty sea air drifting through the breeze.

It was here in this secluded space that Janna and Ethan became husband and wife. The couple originally met during their college days when they were both attending the University of Michigan nearly a decade ago. After seven joyous years together, enjoying all of life's adventures, Ethan asked Janna for her hand in marriage. During a staycation at the Eden Roc Hotel, the couple was quietly enjoying the white sands and the blue-green waters of the Atlantic when Ethan asked Janna to be by his side forever.

They began making preparations for their wedding at the Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami. There was family to invite from all corners of the nation including Chicago, New York, and Tampa. But the thing they were most looking forward to about their union was spending the night in celebration of their love.

When their wedding day arrived their wedding ceremony honored the traditions of their Jewish faith with the wrapping of the Tallit around the shoulders of the bride and groom, drinking from the Kiddish cup, and the smashing of the glass. Janna and Ethan’s rabbi also performed a signing of the ketubah, the Jewish marriage contract that details all the specifics of entering into marriage. They were overjoyed to be pronounced married with their family and friends erupting into a celebratory applause as they made their way down the aisle together as husband and wife.

We spent the entire day at  Janna and Ethan's side during their Palms Hotel & Spa wedding in Miami. From the getting-ready moments in their suites to their first look, the ceremony, newlywed portraits, and their reception. Their wedding day was a full timeline of events and capturing each detail, every expressive emotion, and the beautifully planned setup and decor was undoubtedly, our top priority. There were softly shaded lush florals, gilt vases, dinner by candlelit, the breaking of the bread before dinner service, a champagne toast, and a cigar bar for guests to enjoy.
