Club of Knights Miami Wedding

Kristin and Henrique’s Club of Knights Miami wedding was planned with various unique elements for a carefully curated wedding day full of love & celebration. When I first spoke to Kristin and Henrique during the planning process, I was surprised to learn that they both currently reside in Houston.  But, the majority of their family members live in South Florida. So, they opted to plan a Club of Knights Miami wedding in order to have their friends and family in attendance on the day they were joined in marriage.

When the day of their wedding arrived, the morning was spent in their respective getting-ready suites at The Biltmore Hotel in Miami. Kristin and her wedding party had professional hair and makeup done and wore matching lace trim robes throughout the entire getting-ready process. But, we paused for a few moments to enjoy the energy and excitement in the air. Those final moments, before they slipped on their gowns, were filled with so much anticipation and enthusiasm between friends who share a deeply connective bond. They all shared a laugh before Kristin was buttoned into her romantic off-the-shoulder bridal gown with lace overlay and on her way to meet Henrique for their first look.

The Mediterranean-inspired grounds of the Biltmore Hotel in Miami were an amazing setting for Kristin and Henrique’s first look. The Hotel, which opened in 1926 is now a national landmark, but much of the original beauty remains intact. Roman columns accent the stone stairways and a lavish fountain sits at the base of the outdoor courtyard. Upon laying eyes on his bride, Henrique’s stunned happiness turned to utter joy. It was a tender moment shared between a loving couple who were ready to be joined in marriage.

Their wedding ceremony took place at The Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables. Much like the Biltmore Hotel, The Church of the Little Flower is renowned for its stunning historical stone architecture. Here, in this exquisite backdrop, Kristin and Henrique recited their holy vows of matrimony before being joined in the sacrament of marriage.

Once pronounced husband and wife, it was time to celebrate their union with their closest friends and family members by their side. Their Club of Knights Miami wedding reception was a beautifully set intimate dining experience. Crisp white decor was accented by softly glowing candles as the newlyweds enjoyed the company of their guests.

When it was time to kick their Club of Knights Miami wedding into full gear, the DJ spun some fun dance tracks to get everyone out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. The props came out, the lights strobed and drinks were in hand as Kristin and Henrique let loose with their guests for an epic celebration.
