An Intimate At-Home Wedding in Miami | Paola & Michael
Paola & Michael had an intimate wedding at their beautiful home in Miami, ahead of their destination wedding in Colombia.
Oftentimes, a destination wedding abroad is not considered a legally binding ceremony. Which usually means the couple will have to hold an official ceremony at home in the states before their destination wedding. Paola and Michael knew that they’d have to tie the knot here in Miami, before packing up for their big wedding day in Colombia, where all of their friends and family would be in attendance to celebrate. So they took what was meant to be an intimate ceremony and turned it into something deeply beautiful and meaningful.
The bride and groom wanted to start the year as a married couple, so the official date of their intimate at-home ceremony was January 1st! Isn’t that such an incredible idea? And because it was so close to the holidays, Paola and Michael still had their Christmas tree up. It was in front of the towering tree decked out in gorgeous silver, gold, and white decorations, that they became husband and wife.
Another benefit of having their intimate wedding ceremony at their Miami home was the bride and groom's sweet puppy got to take part in their union. Their sweet pup was dressed for the special occasion with a tiny tuxedo bandana, so adorable! You’ll get to see his special appearance in the photos below!
Looking back at Paola and Michael’s intimate wedding, one thing is for sure, they were wrapped up in so much joy and love for each other. It’s evident in every intimate moment of their day.
