One of the amazing things about being a photographer is having the ability to watch a family grow right before your eyes!

I met mom and dad 5 years ago when I photographed their engagement and then their wedding a year later. From engaged to sweet newborns I have followed this family along in every major milestone of their lives with my camera in hand.

How amazing is that?!

For this Miami newborn photoshoot, mom and dad let me into their home to capture every moment.

Taking your newborn’s photos in your home allows your baby to feel more at ease, and it allows you to approach the session with calm and comfort. 

The standard time frame to book your newborn photo session is when your baby is within their first 10 days!

Many new moms are not yet ready to venture out so having an in-home photoshoot is perfect.

The bonus of an in-home photoshoot for your newborn is not having to worry about packing up a diaper bag and multiple outfits in order to bring your newborn out to a photography studio!

If you are worried that your home is not picture-perfect, don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be!

You’ll get to see how I worked with different backgrounds, light, and color versus black and white photography below to make baby Riley’s newborn photoshoot look like an absolute dream.

Big sister was also part of the shoot and she couldn’t have been more thrilled!

Baby Riley even had time for an outfit change! Both of her outfits for the day were in crisp light colors and she even had matching soft style bow headbands for each outfit.
