Ainet and Edwards Bill Baggs Park Engagement Photography was epic!

The bride and groom-to-be met during their freshman year of college at FIU, in Biology class. I was matched with the couple by Events by Priscilla. And she could not have done a better job pairing us together! Here’s how I know we were the perfect match for working together. Ainet and Edward were shy at first being in front of the camera. Which you’d never be able to guess by looking at their photos below. But I was able to bond with the bride over the fact that we both grew up in Hialeah, Florida. Once we were able to establish a bond over our common ground, they were able to relax and we captured some really sweet and romantic moments!

Capturing your engagement photos on the beach or at a location like Bill Baggs park is all about getting the perfect light! There are two times of the day that photographers refer to as golden hour that captures this magic. The period of time right after the sun rises (you typically have about an hour window for this!) or the period time right before sunset! If you’re going for sunset, the glow in your photos will have more of a subtle reddish hue! In addition to catching amazing light at these times of day, you have the added bonus of (usually!) having the location all to yourself, which means you don’t have to feel awkward about onlookers as you pose for your engagement photos!
