Rustic and Natural in South Florida

South Florida is a beautiful and unique place full of culture and soul with a colorful personality. Wedding themes and venues are more on the modern side and typically our brides usually go for the modern or traditional design because finding a rustic outdoors venue is no easy task.

The idea to shoot a wedding inspiration in a rustic space was inspired by a scary chance encounter of being lost while looking for an address that then turned into location scouting. I ended up driving down this beautiful strip of unpaved road while looking for a fresh local market in the town of Davie, FL. At the end of this beautiful road I found lush greenery, draping heart shaped vines, tall pine trees, horse stables and a majestic plantation style white house.

The direction of the shoot was free style, I wanted to let the space guide me and let me explore the incredible beauty that lied at every step. Everyone at the shoot was in awe of this space and excitement was unanimous.

Photography style: Organic, airy and romantic.

The theme for wardrobe was airy, free spirit and romantic. In tones of deep ivory. All provided by Moda by Pasarela

Hair and makeup was soft, subtle and earthy by A touch of Beauty by Lily

Florals, where a freeform organic style bouquet and matching flower crown. Flower Crown was made of giant white freesia, light pink spray roses, white astilbe and silver brunia. Bouquet was made of, giant white freesia, light pink spray roses, pink snap dragon, baby blue eucalyptus, silver brunia, white astilbe, sword fern and garden clippings. Tied with crochet lace.
